Kampong Glam

The Arab Quarter in Singapore, also known as #ที่เที่ยวสายมู #singapore #trip , is a historic and culturally rich neighborhood that highlights the heritage of the Malay-Muslim and Arab communities in the city. Kampong Glam was designated as an ethnic enclave for Muslims in the early 19th century. It became a hub for Arab traders, especially those from Yemen, as well as Malays and other Muslim communities. The majestic Sultan Mosque, with its golden dome and prayer hall that can accommodate up to 5,000 worshippers, is the district’s most iconic landmark and a focal point of Muslim life in Singapore. While deeply rooted in tradition, the Arab Quarter has become popular with young locals for its hipster cafes, street murals, and live music venues, particularly around Haji Lane.
