Singapore Landmark Street Arts
At various parts of Singapore, you would be able to find street arts drawings along the street. I personally love to capture those images as they were beautifully drawn with the artists' aspirations. Some of them are the message that they want to bring across.
Some of the drawings depict the olden days of Singapore. The new world is a landmark which is at the farrer park area. It used to be very crowded and full of excitement and entertainment activities. Whereas some drawings showcase the hardship that our past generations have gone through, to make our current situation so stab.le and prosperous. Take some time to explore them in Singapore. They are everywhere in Singapore. From little India, to the kampong glam area, to the Chinatown area, as well as the joo chiat area.

Singapore heritage site
Kampong Glam is one of the famous heritage sites in Singapore and is home to one of the most lively hipster streets called Haji Lane. It is also a place of worship for the Muslim community with an iconic mosque that is a landmark in that area. There are many middle eastern cuisine restaurants here too. All in all, a very interesting place to visit if you’re in the country!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kampong Glam
#newyearadventure
Spent a day roaming around Kampong Glam, and it was interestingly amazing. Centred on busy Arab Street, it is also well-known as Singapore’s Muslim Quarter.
A must-see building if you visit for the first time will be the Sultan Mosque. Armed with massive golden domes, this mosque was built for the first Sultan of Singapore.
Also, if the Malay Heritage Centre is opened, you should also visit it to learn more about the rich heritage and culture of Singapore’s Malay community.
A cultural trip to plan for if you are around the area.

🖌️ Our Unique Singapore Wall Mural 🎨
During my staycation at Intercontinental Hotel, I took the opportunity to explore the Kampong Glam area which is about 10 mins walk from the hotel.
There are many wall murals along the various lanes in Kampong Glam, from Arab Street , Haji Lane, Victoria Street to Jalan Pisang etc. Some of the wall murals such as the Girl with Lion Cub was fine by the renowned street artist Ernest Zacharevic’s Girl who also did many wall murals in Penang.
So head down to Kampong Glam and Arab Street area and start hunting fir these beautiful wall murals. One need not travel to Ipoh or Penang, we have them in our own backyard.

Malay heritage art and culture
Address - Sultan Mosque, 3 Muscat Street, Singapore 198833
This mosque is a popular site for locals and tourists alike as it is one of the most impressive works of art in its design. Situated in a cultural heritage neighbourhood, this is definitely a must-visit when you come to Singapore to revel in a different side of arts and culture. First constructed in 1824, this mosque underwent a refurbishment in 1932 and is a key landmark where markets and art festivals are held during Ramadan.

Cultural walk Kampong Glam
#meetsingapore
Kampong glam is a large melting pot where youngsters like to hang out and office workers during happy hours too. Whenever I have friends coming over from overseas, I will bring them to Kampong glam for dinner and enjoy the lively atmosphere here. It is better to visit in the evening when it is not so hot. There are also many activities to do here and I recommend the vespa motorcycle tour. You will be the pillion and sitting in a vintage vespa side-car and tour around a few heritage neighbourhoods. Yes, you will need to wear helmets for this activity. There are also plenty of souvenirs to buy here and there is a sultan mosque nearby too. It is definitely worth a visit to the Kampong glam area.

Loaded sandwiches: Keen’s Bagelry
You have to try this Tik Tok-famous bakery. Keen’s Bagelry is a Japan-inspired shop that serves the fluffiest, pillow-soft bagels. Choose to customise your own sandwich, or just grab a signature creation to save yourself the trouble. Truffle chicken is highly recommended; it comes with a juicy slab of thigh, torched cheddar, and truffle mayonnaise. For maximum enjoyment, get some scrambled eggs with mozzarella added as well. Very shiok!!! The Loxu is for the salmon lovers - just look at the generous layers of Norwegian smoked fish, layered with housemade cream cheese, tomatoes, capers, and lime juice. Bekki is a classic combination of eggs, bacon, and cheese that works well together.
Prices are affordable too; each chonky sandwich is less than $12 on average. Super filling and stuffed FULL of ingredients. Limited seatings are available, so drop by early, or grab a few for takeaway. Located within Curbside Crafters at 730 North Bridge Road. #restaurant #bagel #cafe #singapore
Cafe, Restaurant in Kampong Gelam
Singapore has an amazing Muslim community located at Kampong Gelam where once used to be called Kampong Glam.
At every corner of Kampong Gelam, there are funky mural wall arts, many pop up cafes both mainstream and non mainstream, restaurants serving authentic Greek, Turkish, Lebanese food, mostly halal due to the community located around the area. These foodie lane can be found in Bali Lane and Haji Lane, just make sure to come down with an empty stomach and leave this place with a satisfied tummy as there are so much cafes/restaurants to explore.
Also, while walking around haji Lane or bali Lane, make sure to look up as there might be a few unique arts and sculpture that you might stumble upon.

Kampong Glam is the Muslim neighbourhood of Singapore and is home to carpet shops, Middle Eastern cuisine and mosques, in addition to an interesting mix of funky cocktail bars and quaint eateries. It is an area with an interwined web of narrow streets with unique shophouses decorated creatively and ethnically and is also home to many spectacular wall street art / graffiti in Singapore.

Sultan Mosque: Centrepiece of Kampong Glam
Singapore is melting pot of culture and religion built from different culture and religion and Kampong Glam is filled with that, established back in the 19th century are the textile stores and the Indian Muslim restaurants that makes Singapore culinary so unique.
Right smack in the centre piece of Kampong Glam is the Sultan Mosque which is also known as Masjid Sultan built in the year 1924, but only gotten its recognition as a national monument in Singapore in the year 1975, the history of this destination is so rich that even our founding father, Sir Stanford Raffles was part of the cultural area’s history.
Definitely a good place to get some Malay style pulled tea or teh tarik and learn all about its heritage!

Kampong Glam shophouses
Address - Kampong Glam district
Kampong Glam is a large neighbourhood district located on Arab Street, known for its beautiful 19th century shophouses that have been transformed into consumer goods stores and restaurants! Especially the route leading up to the iconic Sultan Mosque is flanked by rows of shops selling a variety of textiles and delicious Arab fare.
One interesting feature of many of the shophouses is how low-lying the ceilings are. It really creates that cosy intimate vibe that goes well with the exotic culture you can experience here. Perfect backdrop for photo opportunities!

Hari Raya festive market
Address - Walk Thru Souq Festival Market by Laloolalang
During the Hari Raya festive season in Singapore, Laloolalang organized a market bazaar with delicious food in Kampong Glam! It was the perfect place for Muslims to break their fasts and for non-Muslims to also enjoy classic heritage dishes.
It was quite crowded when we were there but very well-organized. The path was one-way essentially so that managed to flow of traffic. We also had so many awesome choices that I really wanted to try everything! My advice is to come with a group of friends so that you can buy more to try the various items.

Mural hunting at Kampong Glam
Today, Kampong Glam has rows of conserved shophouses with murals all around it. Wall murals are a rare sight in Singapore but over here at Kampong Glam it is a mural covered street. You can actually come here for wall hunting. If you get tired, there are so many indie and rare cafes for you to rest and chill at.
As it was about to rain when I arrived, I only managed to see a few before I left.
Coffee Story is located near Sultan Gate Restaurant. It’s very interesting because the mural shows the old style way of coffee house while a modern coffee cafe is residing in the same building.
The other murals spotted are at Haji Lane.

Kampong Glam: A street full of culture
The word ‘kampong’ means “compound in Malay, while “gelam” refers to the long-leaved paperbark tree.
The area is well known for two major landmarks: Sultan Mosque, Singapore’s most important mosque, and the Istana Kampung Gelam, the former Sultan’s palace. The Palace is now the Malay Heritage Centre.
Kampong Glam was gazetted as a conservation area on 7 July 1989. Kampong Glam today and the Sultan Mosque is still the spiritual centre for Singapore’s Muslim community.
Kampong Glam is an arty place in Singapore now with an explosion of colourful shophouses with a mix of muslim and middle eastern stores. From cruises, textile stores, lighting features to souvenir.
I really like walking there as it feels like I am overseas and not in Singapore.

Kampong Glam Art
A motivating factor for me to walk (as exercise ;)) is great scenery. That is why each time I have a staycation around the vicinity of Kampong Glam, I see to it that I stroll along Haji Lane and Arab Street.
Posted here are great art I’ve seen while having a leisurely walk around these areas. From wall paintings to architecture & design of buildings…
Watch out for these murals when you walk along Bali Lane, Hani Lane or Arab Street. There are also nice shops you can check to buy trinkets or souveniers. After your leisurely walk, you can eat or have refreshments in one of the many restaurants or food stalls in the area.

Singapore
The first time I went to Singapore was the year when I graduated from the university in 2009. One persons trip went to Singapore, the second time was to Cambodia in Singapore. Turning around, playing with the US signing for two days, the first two are hurried play, did not do any Raiders, play is also a very regular point.
This is my third trip to Singapore, because I went to shoot the OPPO video, so I did a lot of homework in advance. Although Singapore is very small, I have to go to the card for four days and three nights. At the point of the film, Crab Brothers sorted out some of the favorite ones to share with everyone
1 Kampong Glam-Sudan mosque Malaysia feels Islamic style
2 comet Yao Changyi Airport T1 The JEWEL shopping mall near the terminal building and the Net Red Waterfall take a group photo. The 1F can take a photo with the waterfall and the third floor is suitable for taking photos when the small train passes by the waterfall.
3 The white marble spiral staircase in the Apple Store at Orchard Orchard Road is also a good place for concave shapes.
4 A spiral staircase near Fu Kangning Park is very difficult to find. Figure 9 is the exact location I marked. There are a lot of people waiting in line. Fortunately, everyone is very conscious. So happy!
5-Leuge youths like to go to places, there are bars, small shops, coffee shops, and colorful graffiti walls.
6 Praise Square, the white praise church is relatively small.
7 From the Sands Hotel to the flyover on the Gardens by the Bay, in fact, many places in the vicinity can be photographed in the background of the Sands Hotel to be discovered.
8Cloud Forests - There are so many people, you need to wait patiently to take pictures of no one.
Ok! Finally, I hope that you will also take photos of the United States and America when you go next time.
Finally, what do you think is a good time for Singapore to welcome comments and tell me that the next time the crab brother goes to punch the card!
Kampong Glam in Singapore is definitely the place where the arts and crafts must control the cards. Hidden in the alleys of the forks, colored walls, all kinds of graffiti murals full of love ~
first saw the words of the Gallery, but also stupid to ask passers-by this Kampong Glam Where is the art exhibition, in fact, this whole alley is an open-air art exhibition. Look carefully at each graffiti next to the name and annotation of the work.
Tickets: Free
Location: From the Sultan Mosque to the small traders, a small alley on the left hand side
play time reference: the small alley is not long, count the photo time 30min enough ~ / There is also a special net red coffee shop called % next to hh/

In this community, you will run into a lot of Malaysian and some Arabic folks. Traveling Fish | Singapore's popular cultural district, Kampong Glam
Kampong Glam was once one of the oldest districts in Singapore, located northeast of Bugis subway station. Here you can find the iconic Muslim building, Sultan Mosque, numerous exotic street shops and exotic cuisines, making it a great place to experience Malay and Islamic culture~
The history of the district dates back to the colonial period of Singapore, and now this community is bustling and lively. The blend of long-standing traditions and trendy lifestyles has also made it one of the popular spots for global fashion travelers and culture enthusiasts to check in when they visit Singapore.
In Malay, the word 'kampong' means 'village', and 'glam' usually refers to the 'Gelam Tree' (Long-leafed Thousand-layer Tree), which is common in this area and can be used for shipbuilding, medicine making, and even as a food seasoning.
In this historical preservation district, there are many streets and lanes. The main streets are Sultan Gate, Arab Street, Bussorah Street, and Muscat Street, all filled with a strong Arabic atmosphere. Some buildings on both sides of some streets are even covered with mural-like graffiti, colorful and very suitable for fashionistas to take street shots and check in.
There are some coffee houses, restaurants, traditional ethnic specialty handicraft shops and trendy retail scattered on the streets, especially the Kampong Glam Cafe located in the center with the largest area is the most eye-catching, giving a feeling of Singapore's 'Wukang Road' architecture.
On a sunny afternoon, my friends and I came to Kampong Glam, sat in the cafe for afternoon tea and desserts, chatted, and strolled around the streets. We bought a cup of 'Jen Duo Ice', a dessert that perfectly matches the sunny weather in Lion City, from a street-side shop, enjoying a leisurely afternoon.
After sunset, Kampong Glam is another vibrant scene, with many LIVE music bars in the alleys~
Kampong Glam is also a cultural district in Singapore. If you come here during Ramadan, you will find snack stalls and cultural performances everywhere, especially the festive atmosphere at night is immersive. But please note that during the day of Ramadan, the restaurants here usually do not operate. You can go after dusk, when many restaurants and shops will be open until late at night.
🌟Main attractions: Malay Heritage Centre, Sultan Mosque, Hajjah Fatimah Mosque, Haji Lane, etc.

Must-Visit for Instagram pics in Singapore
#thingstodo #singaporetrip
Instagram fanatics, foodies, art lovers and hipsters alike are all drawn to the Kampong Glam/Bugis area and it's easy to see why.
📸 One could visit just a month later and there would be new murals, new installations and new places to explore. Take a lazy afternoon to explore and enjoy all that the district has to offer.
While most tourists are drawn to Haji Lane, if you venture further towards "the back" of the area towards Bussorah Street, you'll get less of the tourist frenzy and discover great restaurants with less hubbub.
🎨 The Aliwal Arts Centre is also a gem to call out - housed in an Art Deco building that was formerly a school, the arts complex now hosts an eclectic mix of artists and performers. Graffiti, traditional Indian dance, theatre - you'll find it all here!
