Singapore's Architectural Marvel Hotel

Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is one of the city's iconic structures. Designed by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie, it opened in 2010. Inspiration: The architectural design of the hotel is inspired by a deck of cards, with three distinct towers stacked in a way that resembles three cruise ships. Structure: The hotel consists of three 55-story towers, named 'Red Hill' (42 floors), 'Canopy' (23 floors), and 'Ocean Lighthouse' (55 floors). These towers are connected by a massive sky bridge. SkyPark: At the top of the three towers is the Sands SkyPark, the hotel's crowning jewel. It spans 1.2 hectares (12,000 square meters), enough to accommodate four A380 jumbo jets. The SkyPark features restaurants, bars, cafes, 250 trees, a 150-meter infinity pool, and a 360-degree observation deck. Design Significance: The design of the three towers integrates seamlessly with the surrounding environment, creating a perfect balance of energy. Notably, Tower 1 has a 26-degree tilt, with the number 26 considered auspicious in Feng Shui as the sum of its digits is 8, a lucky number in Chinese culture.
