#Marina Bay Sands Singapore Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Strolling and photographing Marina Bay Sands in Singapore
After a business trip to Singapore, I first went to take a must-snap photo of the Iron Man at the airport after getting off the plane. Then I took a taxi (30 Singapore dollars) to the Conrad hotel near Marina Bay Sands. I set out at six in the evening, first arriving at Merlion Park, and casually ordered a hamburger set meal (15 Singapore dollars) at a restaurant that just faces the Marina Bay Sands hotel. After eating, I walked around the lake and reached the right side of Marina Bay Sands at the CBD area just as it got dark. The place called 'light' is especially beautiful for night photography of Marina Bay Sands. Then I was able to stroll around the Marina Bay Sands mall and finally head back in the direction of the hotel, just in time to see the musical fountain. The whole trip was filled with beautiful photos everywhere.

The sophisticated yet inviting ambiance, perfect for coffee enthusiasts and those seeking a cozy retreat. The café's elegant decor, reminiscent of a classic New York coffeehouse, sets the stage for a refined experience.
Latte is smooth, mellow flavor and subtle hints of espresso make it the ideal companion for a leisurely morning or afternoon. Goes well with their chocolate cake where the creamy coffee flavor balances the sweetness of the chocolate cake 🍰

Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands.
I went to Singapore's Gardens by the Bay~
I wanted to go during the day, but due to scheduling conflicts, I ended up going at night.
However, the lighting was so enchanting that I couldn't help but take many photos 😄
Since Marina Bay Sands is also nearby, both were beautifully lit up 🤩
Singapore has its tourist attractions very compactly organized, which makes it a very convenient country, I must say!
It was definitely a recommended spot, regardless of day or night 🥳

📞About Phone Cards and Currency Exchange
Before the trip, for convenience, I decided to exchange currency in my home country. But in retrospect, I didn't really need that much cash. In Singapore, you can almost use credit cards, Alipay and other electronic payment methods, and you can enjoy discounts when using Alipay in duty-free shops at the airport. Therefore, I suggest only exchanging a small amount of cash, which can also be done at Changi Airport. At the same time, I also prepared a Visa chip credit card, which is convenient for payment and brushing subways and buses (although there are some fees, it is very convenient).
To meet the needs of short, medium and long-distance travel, I bought Singtel's 5G/4G Singapore SIM card on platforms like TB. These SIM cards offer different choices such as 7 days, 14 days, 28 days, which are very suitable for my travel plan. And, I can pick it up at the UOB window at Changi Airport, Singtel's signal is very good. In addition, these SIM cards also come with a transportation card, which can be used on subways and buses, and it has already been topped up with 3 Singapore dollars.
⛰About Attractions and Routes
My itinerary is as follows: Hotel-Singapore River-Merlion Park-Marina Bay Sands Hotel/Gardens by the Bay-Dinner/Bar. Alipay Gold and above members can apply for a membership card at the 'SANDS LIFESTYLE' counter next to the food court of Marina Bay Sands Mall or Marina Bay Sands Hotel, so that they can get two free tickets to the Sky Garden of Marina Bay Sands, just need to make an appointment in advance. Don't forget to visit the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, Super Tree (two free light shows every night at 19:45 and 20:45) and OCBC Skyway (you can overlook the entire garden and Ice Bay).
Next is Sentosa-Universal Studios-Orchard Road. I remind everyone not to choose to go to Universal Studios on weekends, because Universal Studios in Singapore is very small, most of the projects have single-person channels, so even if you do not buy VIP channel tickets, you basically do not need to queue, very convenient. And, you can reach Palawan Island by walking over a suspension bridge from Palawan Beach, you can go to check in the southernmost point of the Asian continent, but remember to go early, because you can't go up the suspension bridge after five o'clock.
Fook Ning-National Museum/Art Gallery, Old Xi Street Police Station & Central Fire Station-Chinatown. When I was taking pictures in the popular tree hole in Fook Ning, the queue time was very long, so I suggest everyone to arrange time in advance. When we went, the art gallery was free, so remember to make an appointment to buy tickets in advance, the art gallery is very large, it is worth spending a whole day to visit carefully. To be honest, Little India is not highly recommended, I personally feel that Haji Lane is more worth visiting, and the Michelin restaurant is not as delicious as imagined.
Finally, it is New Changi. In fact, Changi Airport itself is a very fun place, I arranged it on the day of the return journey. The most famous is the indoor waterfall (HSBC Rain Vortex), the waterfall can be photographed from the viewing platform on each floor, but only the airport shuttle can be photographed passing in front of the waterfall in the bridge part. Each terminal has many fun and photogenic places, such as the Cactus Garden, Orchid Garden, Sunflower Garden, Dream Garden, etc., and they are connected by a small train, which is very convenient.

The most beautiful scenery in Singapore
The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands is located at the top of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore, overlooking the entire Marina Bay and Singapore's world-class urban landscape. The Marina Bay Sands Hotel is connected to three towers, the appearance is stunning, and the SkyPark is on the top floor of the hotel. If you want to appreciate Singapore's iconic skyline and capture the bustling scene, this is definitely the first choice.
You can enjoy the city view in 360 degrees here, and capture the bustling scene. At night, you will be fascinated by the city's lights, which highlights the scenery of this incredible city.

Good morning, Singapore! On the second day in Lion City, the weather is still clear, the indoor air conditioning is strong, the outdoor is hot and humid, it seems like having a sauna every day, and the body is sticky. This morning, the first stop is directly to Singapore's NO 1 landmark, the "Merlion" park. Someone once said: If you haven't been to the Merlion, you haven't been to Singapore. Yesterday I took pictures from the top of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, and today I am taking pictures from here.

Another view of MBS art science museum
#mysgmemories
Marina Bay Sands, most people will think about the casino, the luxury shops and good food in MBS.
However, MBS is always crowded, i prefer to go outside to the Art Science Museum area because the lily pond is so beautiful.
Every shot is an instagram worthy shot.
You can also visit the museum and they do have different exhibits from time to time. Its a great way for family bonding, as the kids really enjoyed themselves there.
After settling the kids, husband and wife can go for concert at the convention hall.

The SkyPark observation deck is located on the 57th floor of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.
The views from here are absolutely incredible. You can visit the Gardens by the Bay and the impressive Supertree Trees, as well as all of Singapore's iconic landmarks. I highly recommend coming in the late afternoon so you can get there at sunset and see Singapore day and night.
You will get the most amazing photos. I recommend buying tickets online, $12.50 per person, to avoid the line to get into the hotel and then line up for tickets. This is a must-visit place in Singapore!

Friendships forged by the river
Part of my memories of growing up as a Singaporean is taking long walks along Marina Bay with my friends and family. Beyond the shopping that could be done in the area, it was the picturesque view that we never got sick of no matter how many times we went, that kept our conversations going.
There are spots where you could sit by the Singapore river while enjoying the view of the skyscrapers at Marina Bay and the whole Central Business District area, and have a nice chat with you buddy.
The place is also suitable for cycling and it's extra beautiful at night when the lights of the skyscrapers illuminate the area.

Must-stay Sands Hotel in Singapore
We was upgraded to a room on the 41st floor. Huge balcony. At night, you can directly watch the light show in the sea of trees. Upon opening the balcony door, just moving a sofa to see the scenery is a kind of enjoyment. It's really cool to live with a higher budget. Thank you very much to the service staff who helped us upgrade.
After admiring the view of the room, the next step is to visit the huge Sands Mall. It's really big. There are almost all famous brands in the world.
Download the Sands Members APP in advance, which contains all store information. Enter the name of the store, and there will be a three-dimensional navigation to teach you how to get there. For example, I want to go back to the lobby from the food street Starbucks. Because the nearest staircase in the hall is Rolex, so I navigated to Rolex. No matter where you are in the mall, you can go back easily, travel time is too precious, don’t get lost in the hotel
There are really too many shops, but because we only stay for one night, the focus is not on shopping. After eating at the food court, it is the highlight of the Sands to go to the super-large infinity pool. I checked the Internet before and said that there is a reservation time and a time limit.
The infinity pool is really big and beautiful. I think absolutely world class. I was lucky not to encounter too many crowds this time. It's easy to choose a recliner. Take a look at the high-altitude view from the 57th floor.

Rooftop Bar (Lavo)
Located at the top floor of MBS Tower 1, the sights are as you can imagine; amazing.
Did not try any main dishes here as I only had the drinks. They were just.. fine. A little diluted but still quite flavourful. Guaranteed to have a good time regardless. But if you’re looking to come here just for the drinks, then I suggest looking elsewhere.
This is the place to be if you just want to hangout and have a relaxing night. Small bites and a drink to go along with your chats.

Splendid and Magical Performance!
Location: Marina Bay Sands Theatre
The Frozen Broadway musical was a stunning performance and a treat for both the eyes and the ears. This is easily worth the price for anyone that’s a fan of either broadway musicals, disney or just the Frozen franchise.
This show has an enthusiastic and charismatic cast that has an influential stage presence to keep anyone captivated throughout the whole show. With new songs performed, it’s like a whole new perspective to the story from the first Frozen movie.
Most of all, it’s so exclusive as this show in Singapore is the only one in the whole South East Asia!

Snaps at SG📷!
The famous Marina Bay Sands during the day and night. Witness also the Supertree Grove.
There a lots to explore, a mall with many luxury brands, a museum, art science exhibits (one of my favorite), restaurants and many more.
P.S. Make sure to be on your comfortable shoes as touring the whole place required a long walk.

Walk along Marina View Link Singapore
Had brought my family for walking along Marina View Link overseeing Marina Bay Sands. The view is awesome especially at night with all the lighting effect!
Suggest you can consider to take MRT to Harbour Front station and walk along the water line and you can get pretty good view of Marina Bay Area. The walking journey is about 1.5hr, is a good walk and definitely worth the effort to get some good photos.
