Just Julia Cafe Singapore

If you’ve done souvenir shopping in Hong Kong, you must have heard of Jenny Bakery and their world-renowned butter cookies. Little did we know, you can get something similar right here in Singapore. Started as a home bakery back in 2016, JustJulia have recently opened their storefront in the café-centric Lavender district, dishing out freshly-baked Viennese whirls and other artisanal bakes. Occupying a humble shop right beside gelatolabo, the owner (no points for getting her name right) runs the place all by herself, and her 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 are something to die for! The moment we entered the space, the rich aroma of melted butter instantly hits us. 🧈 Just imagine how delicious the cookies are! 🤤 The whirls come in four flavours - Cranberry, Coffee & Speculoos, Peanut Buttercup, and Kinako Sesame, all of which sounded amazing! We got the 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 which adds a refreshing tartness to an already-heavy flavour! The melt-in-your-mouth texture got us sold, although we were hoping that there is slightly more filling. 🍓 Other than the whirls, they do customised 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗲𝘀 as well, which look amazing and a great alternative for cakes. She recently started on 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 as well which comes in an assortment of 8 flavours! #singaporetrip#food
