Cake Spade

#singaporetrip Cake Spade left and came back. (Its a thing now, yah?) Re-visiting Cake Spade feels like a case of deja vu. After closing its South Bridge Road three-storey cafe, it has reopened back at where it originally started – Orchid Hotel. The new outlet seems to function more like a takeaway store though, with limited seats placed outside the store. The cafe is best known for its Strawberry Tofu Cheesecake ($8.80) with fresh strawberries encase in jelly with digestive biscuit crust at the base. Think jelly-hearts in cake form, with strawberry, peach, mango and occasional seasonal flavours.
