At 7-11, they don't speak as politely as in Thailand. There are few cash top-up machines for EZ-Link cards, and other top-up methods have fees. Visa cards also have fees, so don't use them too much. There aren't many thieves, but it can be scary at night. Remember to clean up after eating. Don't stay out too late; everything closes by 9 PM. If you want nice photos without people, go out around 6-7 AM. Always carry an umbrella as it rains often. If you want to save money, bring food from Thailand and only eat out once a day. Have breakfast and dinner at the hotel.
