Great variety of Japanese food

Yayoi at Star Vista has been around for many years, and this is my first time trying this place after passing by for so many times. I came here at 10:30 morning and this place was empty, but we were welcomed by a very friendly staff despite they just opened business. We tried 3 of their items and upgraded to a set meal, all set meal come with free flow of rice, miso soup and salad. You can help yourself at the free flow station. I particularly enjoyed the katsu curry set out of all the items, I love how they separate the curry sauce for me so that I can add the curry sauce as much as I want. The katsu was crispy and it was so affordable, only $20 for a set of nice curry katsu! The Saba fish set was good as well, it came with a chawamushi which was delicious! The egg was so smooth and tasty. All the portions of the food are so generous here, we can barely finish the rice. But I went for a few round for the salad because it’s free flow 😝we ordered a match parfait for dessert, this is not the best dessert but the staff is nice enough to help me stick my candle on for a birthday surprise. Overall we enjoyed this place!
