Price per Person: $15 Rating: 3.5/5 I have visited the grumpy bear a few times this year to try a few different dishes and I recommend it. The portion is definitely large enough and very reasonably priced. The pasta is Al Dente and I especially like the carbonara here, because the flavors are really rich it will satisfy your carbonara cravings. I like their fried chicken cutlets too, well marinated and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I visited the Thomson plaza outlet as it in inside the mall right above the mrt. There’s another outlet at Ang Mo Kio too. The ambience is average as I felt the tables are too close together. The air conditioning and ventilation are good. They serve dessert and ice cream too so you can sit there for hours and chit chat and order a few items. Service is good as the staff are polite and attentive. UOB credit cards also have a 1-1 on selected dishes until end July 23 so you can eat for even cheaper.
