One of the hidden gems near dhoby ghaut is Isshin Machi located at GR.iD. This cafe sells Taiwanese food which a few outlets in Singapore. I tried the bubble tea which the tea was flavorful and the pearls were chewy! The Lu Rou Fan was a big portion and was packed full of ingredients. The dumpling noodles was springy and the dumplings fillings were well marinated. The salted long beans were one of the signature dishes and surprisingly they didn’t disappoint despite the plain looks. The ambience was good and there was even a stage for a band to perform. The tables were spaced out well enough so you won’t hear your neighbors conversations and vice versa. Definitely drop by this cafe when you are at dhoby ghaut area!
