Tropical Autumn

For tropical countries and those that are closer to the equator, Autumn does not unfold as it usually does in the more temperate countries where the change of climate is more obvious. Singapore has its own Autumn charm. This little country does not really show a transition of colors from green to yellow to orange and reds. Foliage isn't as generous as well. The colder Autumn breeze however can be felt as it wafts through the city as it gets caught and reflected through the glass exteriors of the Singapore skyscrapers which forms as an enclosure. My visit at the Marina Bay Sands for a conference in late October definitely was different from the usual hot and humid Singapore weather I usually am familiar of as I visit in summer. The trees that lines up the city, albeit the absence of generous foliage, gave me a hint of the transformation that nature is undergoing right under my nose. #fallingforfall #meetsingapore
