🙏🏼Worship and ask for blessings at Wat Phra Non Chaksi Worawihan 🙏🏼

Today, I would like to recommend something special for those born on Tuesday who want to worship Buddha to enhance their birth cycle. At Wat Phra Non Chaksi Worawihan, this is another sacred place for friends to come and pay their respects. History of Luang Por Phra Non Chaksi Luang Por Phra Non Chaksi is a statue of the reclining Buddha preaching a miracle to Asura Indrahu, a giant. In order to reduce the view of Asura Indrahu, who believed that his body was larger than a human's, the Buddha transformed his body to be larger than the giant. "Luang Por Phra Non" is therefore a large and long Buddha statue built by Thao U Thong. It is 3 sen 3 wa 2 sok 3 cubits 7 inches long (47.40 meters). The head points to the east and the face is facing the north. It is very beautiful. There is a story that Singhapahu had a lion father. When he found out the truth, he was ashamed of his friends who thought his father was an animal, so he killed the lion. Later, he realized that he was afraid of sin and felt very sorry. So he created a Buddha statue. By taking 3 handfuls of gold bars and 1 long gold line as the core of the Buddha image, it is a way to redeem one’s sins and the Buddha image has existed for Buddhists to worship for many generations until the reclining Buddha image collapsed into a mound. Long time ago, Thao U Thong led a cart merchant this way and found the gold core buried in the mound. He heard about Singhapahu and was impressed and saw the benefit to Buddhism. Therefore, he persuaded the cart merchant to build this Buddha image by using the found gold bars as the core of the Buddha image. In 2297 and 2299, King Borommakot of Ayutthaya came to worship and repair the Buddha image along with building a new temple, chapel, and other residences. In 2423 and 2444, King Chulalongkorn, Rama V of Rattanakosin He came to pay homage and on October 9, 1976, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej came to pay homage with the royal family. Therefore, it can be said that "Luang Pho Phra Non Chaksi" is a sacred object that holds a priceless miracle. It is a spiritual refuge and is historically important. #Luang #Worship #Visit historical sites #Singburi #Visit the central region
