Angkor Wat ( City of the temples) was an absolute highlight of my travelling adventures! I never knew how big the grounds were, we spent 2 days exploring! First day, we joined a sunrise tour and visited 3 main temples with a guide - very informative! All of the temples are so different from eachother. The 1 day ticket allows you to enter over 2 days so the second day we rented a scooter ourselves and drove around more temples that we hadn't seen the first day! Would highly recommend a guide, we booked a sunrise which can be found on most booking sites. Renting a 125cc scooter in Siem Reap was easy. Good size for 2 people.
