Historic Hindu temple with pyramid shape

#bucketlistreboot Ta Keo is a temple mountain possibly the first to be built entirely of sandstone by the Khmer Empire in the early 11th century by Jayavarman V. Located just a couple of minutes drive either from Bayon or Ta Prohm temple. Its five sanctuaries are placed on top of a 22 metres high five step pyramid from where there are good views of the surroundings. Ta Keo is very popular because it was an unfinished temple, the surroundings are thick jungle, when you stand at the top Ta Keo, you can just see the top of the green trees in all directions.
