Checklist of what to bring to visit the World Heritage Site [Angkor Wat]

For those of us who live in Japan's comfortable infrastructure, visiting ruins is a harsh experience that we are not used to. I was looking forward to visiting ruins♪ Here is a checklist of things to bring so that you can enjoy sightseeing to the end. ✅ ◻︎Wet wipes ◻︎Pocket tissues (for the toilet) ◻︎Alcohol gel ◻︎Sunglasses ◻︎Neck sunburn scarf → Cambodian scarves called krama can be purchased locally ◻︎Sunscreen ◻︎Comfortable shoes or socks Closed-toe sandals ◻︎Socks (for blisters) ◻︎Band-aids ◻︎Cooling spray ◻︎Lightweight crossbody bag ◻︎Parasol or hat ◻︎Thin long-sleeved top ◻︎Mosquito spray ◻︎Stomach medicine/diarrheal medicine ◻︎Mask (for dust while traveling) ◻︎Clothes that are easy to move around in and don't get in the way ◻︎Wi-Fi (international roaming by Japanese mobile phone companies may not be available inside the ruins) ◻︎Decide on a meeting place Avoid direct sunlight at ruins with little shade The light is painful and piercing☀️ Because of the nature of the Siem Reap area, there is often no wind. The dry heat and fine sand particles easily fly up (Photo 2) Be sure to bring drinking water with you☝️ Wear sunglasses and a mask while traveling in a tuk-tuk🕶️ It takes 30 minutes from the city, so prepare a thin long sleeve shirt to avoid feeling the wind directly and conserve your energy (your hat will fly off👒) There are small ups and downs inside the ruins. The steps of the stairs The distances are not uniform. There are lots of tripping traps, so be sure to check your feet as you walk. (Photos 3 and 4) Even if it looks like it's right there, it's surprisingly far away when you walk. (Photos 5 and 6) If you're not feeling well or are tired after visiting many places, you need the courage to give up. There are three types of admission tickets: 1 day, 3 days, and 1 week. If you have time, you can enjoy it without any regrets by dividing it into several days. #Pre-trip checklist #Siem Reap #Cambodia trip #Angkor Wat #Ruins tour #Solo trip #Girls trip #Couple trip #Family trip #Heat measures
