Climb the stairs @ Phu Tok, Bueng Kan

🌟🌟🌟 Phu Thok is located in Ban Kham Kaen, Bueng Kan Province. It is home to Wat Chetiya Sriwihan or Wat Phu Thok. In Isan, it means a lonely mountain. There are two Phu Thok mountains: Phu Thok Yai and Phu Thok Noi. The one we visited was Phu Thok Noi. 😸😸😸 Traveling to Bueng Kan Province is quite far by car, but if you take a leisurely drive and stop for a break, it will be easier. When we reach Wat Phu Thok, we will walk up to the top. The highlight is the wooden bridge and stairs. You can see a 360-degree view from above. The entire path goes around the mountain. There are rest stops and viewpoints at intervals. 😭😭😭😭 For those who are afraid of heights, there are some parts where your legs will shake because there is a floating walkway that is drilled into the mountain wall, which can be quite scary. For those who are not afraid of heights, you can just walk slowly and enjoy the view. It is recommended to bring water in case you get thirsty. Also, do not go up too late because it might take about 3 hours to walk around.
