Phu Thok Temple, 360-degree view on top of a mountain, Bueng Kan Province

Phu Thok is the location of Wat Chetiya Sriwihan (Wat Phu Thok) in Ban Kham Kaen, Na Sabang Subdistrict, Bueng Kan Province. It was founded by Phra Ajahn Juan Kulchettho. In the Isan language, it means a lonely mountain. Phu Thok has two peaks: Phu Thok Yai and Phu Thok Noi. The only one that pilgrims and tourists can visit is Phu Thok Noi. Phu Thok Yai is further away and is not yet open to tourists. The highlight of Phu Thok is the wooden bridge and stairs to view the scenery around Phu Thok. The stairs were built by human labor, going around Phu Thok in a 360-degree manner, with a total of 7 levels. It took 5 years to build. You can walk on the bridge around the mountain, where you will see different perspectives. The stairs leading up to the top of Phu Thok are like a path of Dhamma that guides good people to escape the world of the world to the world of the supramundane or the world of liberation through effort and determination. The 5th level or the middle level is considered the most important level. There will be a large pavilion, Buddha statues, monks' huts, and a place to keep the remains of Phra Ajahn Juan. The area is clean and spacious, and looks very cool. It is suitable for sitting and praying for pilgrims or those who seek peace. Along the way, there are many caves, such as Tham Lek Lai, Tham Kaew, Tham Rishi, etc. There are places to sit and rest for fatigue along the way.
