Wat Chang Lom, Sukhothai

It is an ancient site within the city walls, Si Satchanalai Historical Park, Si Satchanalai District, Sukhothai Province. This temple is located on the plains at the foot of Phanom Phloeng Mountain to the south, in the same axis as Wat Chedi Chet Thaeo. Its main feature is the Sri Lankan-style pagoda on a two-tiered square circumambulation base. The first tier consists of 39 full-body stucco elephants surrounding the base on all four sides. The elephants at the four corners of the base are larger than the surrounding ones. The second tier consists of niches with 17 seated Buddha statues in the Mara-Vijaya posture, with Bodhi tree sculptures in the background. #tripแจกลด #วัดช้างลมสุโขทัย
