Why is the only Chu Culture Museum in the country here?

1️⃣The last capital of Chu At the end of the Warring States Period, Chu and other six countries failed to unite and resist Qin. Chu was forced to move its capital several times to avoid Qin. Finally, Huang Xie, the Lord of Chunshen, offered his fiefdom, Shouchun, as the capital of Chu. With the migration of the King of Chu and his nobles, most of the property and treasures accumulated by the Chu State over the past 800 years were brought to the new Yingdu - Shouchun. 2️⃣The Jianghuai region that the Chu State has painstakingly managed for more than 400 years The Jianghuai region where Shouchun is located is surrounded by rivers and connects the north and the south. It was a strategic location that the Chu State focused on managing during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. In the middle of the Spring and Autumn Period, Chu began to rule the Jianghuai region and successively destroyed the Liu, Liao, Qunshu and other vassal states in the region. Sun Shuao, the prime minister of Chu, built water storage and irrigation projects such as Shaobi (Anfengtang) and vigorously developed agriculture. The Jianghuai region became a land of fish and rice, laying a solid material foundation for the realization of the northward march to the Central Plains. In the process of managing the Jianghuai region, the State of Chu fought and confronted with the States of Qunshu, Zhoulai, Huaiyi, Wu, Yue, Cai and other states for a long time. During this period, the State of Chu experienced events such as Wu's first attack on Chu, six people rebelled against Chu, Qunshu rebelled against Chu, Wu entered Zhoulai, Wu destroyed Zhoulai, and Cai moved Zhoulai. The situation was ever-changing and magnificent. The Chu State managed the Jianghuai region for more than 400 years, which accounted for more than half of the 800-year history of the Chu State. This shows the important position of the Jianghuai region in the historical development of the Chu State. It promoted cultural collision and integration and created the unique Chu culture in the Jianghuai region. 3️⃣A large number of important tombs of the Chu State have been unearthed There are a large number of places named "Gudui" in and around Shouchun City, most of which are tombs of Chu nobles, including the only confirmed tomb of the King of Chu so far - the Tomb of King You of Chu. In addition to the grand Mausoleum of the King of Chu, there are dozens of tombs of Chu nobles in the south of Shouchun City and along the shores of Wabu Lake, including the tomb of the world-famous Chunshen Jun - Huang Xie. 4️⃣Important unearthed cultural relics of the Chu State The Zhuke Cauldron is the treasure of the Anhui Museum. When Chairman Mao visited the Anhui Provincial Museum in 1958, he walked around the cauldron and said humorously, "What a big cauldron, it can cook a cow." It is still placed in the absolute center of the Anhui Museum. The most direct physical evidence of the economic prosperity of the Chu State - the Chu State gold coins and the "Ejunqi" gold token. Among them, the "Ejunqi" gold-inlaid bronze festival is a national first-class cultural relic and is now in the collection of the National Museum of China and the Anhui Provincial Museum. After his research, Guo Moruo wrote "Research on Ejun Qijie". Shouchun City, as the last glorious period of the Chu State in its 800 years, occupies an important place in the vast history.
