Hirayama Onsen, a famous hot spring in Shizuoka. It is located at the foot of Mount Ryuzutsu, about 30 minutes by car from JR Shizuoka Station, and is a popular hot spring among hot spring enthusiasts. Hirayama Onsen in Shizuoka Prefecture, where Ryusenso is located, has a long history and is also known as Goten Uba no Yu (Goten Uba no Yu). It is a secret hot spring associated with the Imagawa clan, who ruled Suruga, Totomi, and Mikawa during the Sengoku period. It was named after the high-ranking wet nurses who served the lord of Sunpu Castle who used to come here for hot spring therapy, and there used to be place names related to Goten Uba. Along Prefectural Route 201 (Ryuzutsu Kaido), there is a large stone sign that reads "Hirayama Onsen Entrance," and this is the entrance to Ryusenso. Ryusenso opened in 1958. It has been popular as a hot spring inn, but now it is only open for day trips. When you enter the entrance, you will be greeted by a wooden raccoon with a sign hanging from its neck that says "Open". The inside of the building is filled with the Showa era scent that Yudane loves, and it feels like time is passing slowly. The water was full of hot spring deposits. Also, to preserve the ingredients of the water, soap and shampoo are prohibited.
