🌴 Wakayama Trip Review – Fun Pass Worth It? YES! 🎟️🐼🍰🌅

Just got back from Shirahama, Wakayama, and I used the Have Fun in Wakayama / Joy Pass which lets you choose 3 facilities from a list, valid over one week. If you plan right, you get a lot of value and flexibility. 🐼 What I Did with My 3 Choices Here’s how I used my “3 facility picks,” and how it played out: 1. Adventure World — A full‑day adventure. Took the safari train, saw penguins, watched dolphins, visited animals, etc. This was definitely the best choice. 🎟️ Normal ticket is about ¥5,300 — but free with the Fun Pass! 2. Hotel Cake Password – Cake Set (Lobby Café PASSWORD) — Chilled here; had matcha cake + fresh orange juice. The view is peaceful. Cake was a bit too sweet for me, but the drink was refreshing. Good place to rest. 3. Shirahama Key Terrace Observation Tower / Observation + Underwater Observatory — Visited around 4:30 PM for sunset light; great for photos. The underwater observatory was old, mirror / windows didn’t show fish clearly.
