Special Festivals of Ouchijuku

#Valentine's Day 2025 Ouchijuku has been a post station for merchants since the Tokugawa Shogunate era 500 years ago. The main street is about 300 meters long with businesses on both sides. What is more valuable is that these thatched houses full of history still welcome us with vitality. "Ouchijuku" is the first place on the travel list of Fukushima Prefecture! Ouchijuku is known as one of the three major thatched houses in Japan, along with Shirakawa-go Gassho Village and Kyoto Miyama-cho. There are two rows of shops selling many souvenirs and mascots, and there is also an observation deck where you can take pictures of the thatched houses from a high altitude! The Snow Festival in February and the Midsummer Festival in July are the special festivals of Ouchijuku.
