[Shizuoka, Shimoda] Bettei Rakuyu, a hidden inn for adults, a members-only hotel

Located on the oceanfront in Shimoda, Izu, this members-only resort with suite rooms and an open-air bath with natural hot spring water is a hideaway for adults [Bettei Rakuyu] Enjoy the open-air bath in your room and gourmet food while surrounded by the ever-changing scenery and sound of the waves of the cobalt blue oceanfront. I was able to see the Moon Road, which I had always wanted to see with my own eyes, and it was an emotional night and I enjoyed a wonderful "adult time"♪ It also has a pool, jacuzzi, and sauna, so it's recommended for sauna lovers! ———————————————— 🛌All 8 rooms are suite rooms with open-air baths with natural hot spring water, and the bathroom is equipped with a reclining bath and DVD player. I stayed in a 66 square meter Japanese-Western room with a cypress open-air bath and indoor bath type. Amenities were Guerlain. Smoking was allowed on the terrace, and some room types had private saunas. 🧖The sauna is a loyly sauna, and you can see the ocean from the sauna room, and it is also equipped with a jacuzzi bath and a pool. It is also right in front of Sotoura Beach, so you can relax however you like! 🏊The seaside pool with Sotoura Beach, certified as an international geopark, spreads out in front of you. At night, it becomes a night pool and is lit up! 🍽️For dinner, we enjoyed a course menu of authentic French and Japanese kaiseki at Restaurant Rakuyutei. There are many rare sakes, and Bar Mion is also located in the back. 🌕I was moved to see the moon road for the first time, which I had always wanted to see with my own eyes. It was a valuable experience that can only be seen in limited places and when the weather conditions are right. I will never forget that night. ☀️The sunrise was so beautiful that I was moved. For breakfast, I ate on the terrace at Restaurant Rakuyutei, watching the sound of the waves and the sparkling sea. The omelette made with miraculous eggs "Yonetsuya" grown on Hokkaido rice was delicious ♡ ———————————————— A supreme hideaway that will make you forget time Bettei Rakumura 1116-8 Kakizaki, Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture 🚗Free parking on site 🚖Shuttle service available from Izukyu-Shimoda Station ——————————————— ※ This is a member-only accommodation, but even non-members can make reservations for a one-night "trial stay," so I used it. #Shimoda #Bettei Rakumura #Members-only hotel #Shimoda trip #Shimoda trip
