The spectacular view of cosmos flowers as far as the eye can see is an impressive sight no matter how many times you see it at Shimabara Hibariyama Flower Park

Hibariyama Flower Park in Shimabara, Nagasaki Prefecture, is a place where you can enjoy the spectacular view of cherry blossoms and poppies in spring and 10 million cosmos in autumn, with the backdrop of Heisei Shinzan, which was created during the 1990 eruption of Mount Unzen. I went to see the cosmos twice, in 2020 and 2021, and the sight of cosmos as far as the eye can see is impressive no matter how many times I go. If you go early in the morning on a weekday, there are fewer people and the air is very fresh! There is a promenade in the cosmos field, and I like to walk all over it and take close-ups of the cosmos like in photos 2 and 3, or low-angle shots like photos 5 and 6. There are many cosmos blooming densely here, so I felt that it was the easiest cosmos field I have ever been to to take low-angle shots. The cloud patterns were also very beautiful at this time.
