Shenpou Valley Scenic Area (formerly known as Wulong Valley) is located in Yinghua Town, Shifang City, Deyang City, Sichuan Province. It is an important part of the Sichuan Provincial Scenic Area. Location Shenpou Valley Scenic Area is located in Shimen Village, Yinghua Town, Shifang City, about 40 km from Shifang City, adjacent to Zhongding Temple and Yinchang Valley Scenic Area. Altitude and Climate The scenic area is located at an altitude of 1,000–2,000 m, with an average annual temperature of 13°C. The highest temperature in summer is 26°C, making it a great place to escape the summer heat. Scenic Area Features 1. Waterfalls: Shenpou Valley is famous for its spectacular waterfalls. There are more than 60 waterfalls of different sizes in the canyon, with five main waterfalls. 2. Beautiful Scenery: Rhododendrons and dove trees in spring, a summer resort, red leaves in autumn, and snow and ice waterfalls in winter. 3. Flora and Fauna: The scenic area is rich in vegetation, with ancient vines, pine forests, and a high forest coverage rate. The high concentration of negative oxygen ions makes it a great place for hiking and breathing fresh air. Activities The scenic area offers a variety of activities, including boating, bamboo rafting, and water slides, suitable for families and children. Transportation 1. Self-driving: From Chengdu: From Chengdu, take the G4201 Ring Expressway - Chengdu-Pengzhou Expressway (Shifang North) - Beijing Avenue - Yinghua Town - Shimen Village, about 140 km in total. From Deyang: From Deyang, take Changjiang West Road, Huashan South Road, Hanjiang Road, Donghai Road, Tianyuan Road, S106, Deshi Road, Jingshi East Road North Section, Guangqing Road, Yingzhong Road, Shuangma Road, and Malyuping Shenpou Valley Scenic Area. 2. Public Transportation: Bus: Take a bus from Chengdu East Bus Station to Shifang City, or take a train from Chengdu to Deyang and then to Shifang, and then transfer to the Shifang City to Scenic Area Shuttle Bus. Shuttle Bus: From Deyang City, take a bus or taxi to Shifang City, and then transfer to the Shifang City to Scenic Area Shuttle Bus.
