Seeing the Hajime Sorayama exhibition in Shenzhen was truly an enjoyable experience. The works are renowned for their futuristic metallic feel and sensual curves, and the lighting design of the exhibition space made the entire space feel like stepping into a science fiction movie, with different surprises at every turn. I especially loved the robotic sculptures that reflected light like liquid metal—exquisitely detailed yet full of power. There was also an immersive room where the works seemed to flow with light and shadow, making for incredibly photogenic shots without any filters.
