Day out at OCT

If you’re looking for a relaxing day trip, why not try OCT! An hour and 20 minute drive from Futian and you’ll arrive at the gates of the park (plenty of parking spaces)! The entrance fee is 200RMB (roughly) per person. You can walk up the way to the top, which would probably take 30 minutes. I caught a transport to the top (40RMB for one way in the cart). The park itself has definitely been affected by COVID as the park is in need of repair and there were parts of the park that were forgotten about and unused. If you’re taking your family there wasn’t much to do for the children other than have a run around and view the water show. You can catch a cable car to the top (for free) to view the view. The view at the top was a nice breeze and was a bit crowded. There was a small snack shop to buy popcorn , drinks and sausages but no restaurant. At the top you also have the option to catch the train down (I wouldn’t recommend - you have to wait 15-20 minutes for it and you can’t see anything on the way down). The train to the tea park was unfortunately closed when we went. Overall I would recommend going if you’re in the Dameinsha area! It was a nice trip out. #mountainview #seaview #shenzhen #cablecar
