📍 Location: Shenzhen Bay District (深圳湾), Shenzhen, China 🗓 Date of visit: September 1, 2025 ✨ Highlights of this place • Futuristic skyscraper: The building, known as "Spring Bamboo," stands at over 390 meters tall and was designed by renowned New York architects KPF (Kohn Pedersen Fox). Its modern design feels like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. • Luxurious landmark: Surrounding the building are world-class luxury brands like Cartier, Dior, Bulgari, and more, showcasing Shenzhen's upscale district. • Art and exhibition space: During the visit, there was an exhibition featuring adorable cat characters called "BAY de LUNE." It included artistic displays such as a giant sleeping cat doll, a cat holding a microphone, and a cat putting on makeup—perfect for endless photo opportunities. • Relaxing atmosphere: The area features outdoor cafes under large trees with chairs and tables, offering a European-style outdoor café vibe for a leisurely experience. 🚇 How to get there • Metro: Take Shenzhen Metro Line 11 to Houhai Station (后海站) and walk for about 10 minutes. It's recommended to exit via Exit E (后海E出口). After exiting, head towards Shenzhen Bay Sports Center / Coastal City, and you'll spot the prominent "Spring Bamboo" skyscraper within 8–10 minutes of walking. • Bus: Several bus routes stop near Shenzhen Bay Sports Center. • Taxi/DiDi: If carrying lots of items or traveling in a group, use the DiDi app to call a taxi for maximum convenience.
