Shenzhen Splendid China Folk Village

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city this weekend! My friends and I visited the Shenzhen Splendid China 2025 Summer Carnival Celebration, which is currently hosting the "Dream of a Midsummer Night Water Splashing Festival." As soon as we entered the ancient town, we were amazed by its beauty. We couldn't resist dressing up in traditional costumes for some photo ops. Strolling through the ancient town and wandering by the lakeside felt incredibly relaxing. The highlight of the visit was the large-scale interactive parade. My favorite part was the water-splashing carnival parade, where everyone joined in the fun of splashing water at each other. In the evening, there was the Yi ethnic Torch Festival parade, showcasing fiery ethnic performances. Experiencing two grand parades in one day was truly spectacular! Top-tier fire shows in Pengcheng The grand finale featured incredible fire performances, including fire eating, fire spitting, fire knives, fire meteors, and fire dancing. Lastly, we watched the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Steel Flower/Fire Pot" show. Every Saturday night at the Cuihu Pier, you can enjoy steel flower displays, water jet acrobatics, and fire pot performances. It felt like watching a unique kind of fireworks, earning its reputation as the "pinnacle of Chinese-style romance." The breathtaking beauty left us in awe.
