Every time I go on vacation to Shenzhen, I can't escape the relaxing bayside days. This time, after staying at Xiaomeisha, my next stop was naturally Dameisha! I specifically chose the InterContinental Dameisha Resort – as a well-established five-star hotel, I didn't have to worry about anything; I could just enjoy the sun and the beach. This hotel is perfectly situated, facing the breathtaking Dameisha seascape, with a private beach and expansive views. Wake up to the sunrise from your balcony and watch the sunset in the evening. For beach lovers and families, this is the perfect place to unleash your Shenzhen vacation! Attractions & Vacation Highlights 1️⃣ InterContinental Dameisha Resort Address: No. 9, Dameisha Section, Yankui Road There are so many indoor and outdoor amenities that it's hard to choose – there's a heated swimming pool with separate adult and children's sections. In the summer, gazing at the azure sea from the outdoor pool is a true masterpiece. Fun Island boasts a children's play area, slides, and a gym. There's a dedicated craft area for kids, while adults can enjoy beachside yoga or a spa, ensuring a stress-free family vacation. Fancy staying in the hotel and relaxing? Absolutely! The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety, and dinner includes must-try dishes like salmon and grilled oysters. Some restaurants also offer creative hot pot recipes for one, so you can DIY your own. The hotel offers daily family activities and travel photography services, and families with children can also reserve surprise birthday decorations and small gifts. Guest reviewers' note: The hotel's facilities are a bit dated, and some facilities and hygiene could use improvement. However, it's ideal for relaxing and enjoying the beach. For stunning ocean views, early morning or evening are recommended, as the light is the most beautiful and the crowds are less. 4. The pool showers are fully stocked, but can get crowded during peak season, so make reservations early or avoid using them during peak hours. 5. This holiday mainly covers Shenzhen and Huidong, specially chose two super suitable for parents / couples / families resort hotels - can chill and see the sea, and have all the play facilities no boredom. Whether you want to watch the sea quietly and relax, or a happy trip for the whole family, there is a right thing to like, the beach is beautiful (sand is so small that it will be addictive), the service staff is very friendly, really can not leave after staying. Kingkey InterContinental Resort, Dameisha, Shenzhen Address: 9 Salt Kwai Road (Tai Mei Sha Section), Tai Mei Sha The hotel sits on the most beautiful coastline in Dameisha, opening the door to see the beach and unbeatable vast sea views, to the rooms mostly also have an exclusive balcony, you can watch the sunrise in the morning / see the glow in the evening. The hotel has its own private beach, the sand is white and fine, and the water is super clear, you really want to chill no matter how you want. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools, thermostatic pools, divided into adults and children, more interesting fun island children's park, slides, travel photography, parent-child craft workshops, etc., parents and children are not afraid of boredom. The buffet serves both breakfast and dinner of standard – salmon, grilled oysters, and beautiful desserts and creative little hot pots. The overall service staff was very polite and willing to help. However, some of the facilities are older and just renovated would be better, certain periods of house cleaning to be refueled.
