A Great Destination in the North: Jiaochangwei

We took a taxi to the P1 parking lot at Jiaochangwei, then walked about 7 minutes to the guesthouse using navigation. The location was easy to find. The guesthouse owner was very friendly, helped us carry our luggage, and even upgraded our room for free. The room had a great view, and the cleaning staff were polite and professional. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and I highly recommend a café by the seaside near the guesthouse. The prices are reasonable, and there are many Instagram-worthy spots. Jiaochangwei is also conveniently close to Dapeng Fortress for sightseeing. This was my first visit to Jiaochangwei, inspired by online videos. We took a taxi from Luohu, and the driver kept complaining about Jiaochangwei's beach, saying it was dirty and not worth visiting. He even suggested we go to Yangmeikeng instead. But since we had already booked the guesthouse, we decided to stick to our plan and save Yangmeikeng for next time. Luckily, the weather was perfect that day—blue skies, white clouds, and crystal-clear blue water. When we arrived, the tide was low, so we immediately changed into shorts and flip-flops to explore the beach. We saw many people digging for clams, and schools of small fish swimming around. It was truly a delightful experience.
