Shenzhen! My third stay! I love this budget-friendly hotel.

A Luxurious Stay at the Shenzhen Nanshan Shangri-La In the heart of Shenzhen's vibrant Nanshan district, the Shenzhen Nanshan Shangri-La stands as a shining gem, exuding unique charm. Its prime location offers unparalleled convenience. It's about a 15-minute drive from Shenzhen Bay Port, making it an ideal choice for travelers like me who plan to visit Hong Kong but prefer not to stay there overnight. Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport is also just a 35-minute drive away, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures. The hotel, newly opened in 2024, boasts a fresh, modern ambiance. Stepping into the lobby, you're immediately enveloped by a sense of grandeur. From the flooring to the ceiling, every detail reflects meticulous craftsmanship, seamlessly blending modern design with oriental aesthetics. The hotel key cards maintain Shangri-La's classic style, showcasing the brand's rich heritage. The lobby is on the first floor, while guest rooms occupy the upper floors from the 67th to the 75th. Upon arrival, you'll take an elevator to the 66th floor to transfer. I booked a Deluxe City View Room, but the friendly front desk staff kindly upgraded me to a Deluxe Bay View Room. My room, number 31, was well-equipped. It featured a Dyson hairdryer, premium John Masters Organics bath and hair products, a smart toilet, and a coffee pod machine. As a Golden Circle member, I enjoyed complimentary access to the minibar, stocked with San Pellegrino, cola, beer, and more. Refills were just a phone call away. The room offered a stunning view of Shenzhen Bay. Despite the overcast weather on my check-in day, the view through the floor-to-ceiling windows was serene and pleasant. A building under construction next door didn't detract from the overall experience. The hotel's Horizon Club (executive lounge) and breakfast restaurant are both located on the 66th floor. The Horizon Club's afternoon tea features a wide array of pastries and desserts to satisfy diverse palates. The elegant teapots and cups added a touch of sophistication to the experience. The refrigerator was well-stocked with various soft drinks, from sodas to juices. ✅Soundproofing/Cleanliness: Excellent soundproofing and impeccable cleanliness create a quiet and tidy environment. 🏘️Room Types/Layout: Diverse room types with well-designed layouts. The Deluxe Bay View Rooms on the higher floors offer particularly breathtaking views of Shenzhen Bay. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: Comprehensive amenities including a Dyson hairdryer, high-end toiletries, a smart toilet, a coffee pod machine, and a well-stocked minibar. 💗Other tips: Members enjoy perks like complimentary minibar access.
