It has typical Cantonese-style architecture and was built to commemorate the ancestor He Zhen, a famous Lingnan sage. It is located in Luohu District, Shenzhen. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Sungang Metro Station. It is the only relatively complete Cantonese walled village building preserved in Shenzhen, carrying rich Cantonese culture and historical value. 🏠Architectural Features The building plan of the former site of the founding hero is square, 68 meters wide from east to west and 63.5 meters deep from north to south, with watchtowers at the four corners. The towers are connected by a 5-meter-high and 2-meter-thick wall. There are 3 vertical alleys and 6 horizontal alleys inside the enclosure, with a total of 140 rooms and 3 wells.
