Dapeng Fortress ~ well preserved walled city in Shenzhen

Shenzhen is a mega city in the south part China. Known for its electronics and advancement, Shenzhen did not forgot the past as well. DAPENG FORTRESS is one of the few old walled city in city of Shenzhen. Old as some of the houses in it are dated from Qing dynasty. Thick brick~walls, old residential houses, and a sense of nostalgia. As of now, Dapeng features ancestral houses of the former generals of Qing dynasty such General Li, General Yi to name a few. It is open for public viewing. Also, the walled city houses tens of different kinds of shops, cafes, clothing, etc...
