Highly recommended!

I'm a Marriott Platinum and Hilton Diamond member, so I often stay at hotels under these two groups. If you want to see some Huazhu or Atour hotels in the future, I can check them out for you. Overall, I personally think Marriott and Hilton have a higher cost-performance ratio. Pros 🛏️ Hilton Diamond members get a free upgrade to a suite, and Gold members can have a heart-to-heart talk. The room is ten times the size of a room in Hong Kong, and the facilities are very new. This hotel also has a kitchen, washing machine, refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee machine, and everything you need. You can ask the hotel for pots and pans to cook for yourself. The hotel has a heated swimming pool. The room faces the Holland Flower Town. Looking out the window, you can see a lush green view, which will make you feel relaxed and happy. Cons 🚕 It's a bit far from the subway station, so I recommend taking a taxi. Staff 💁 The front desk staff are friendly and smiley, and they give you DoubleTree cookies when you check in. The housekeeping staff are also nice. I asked for a bath bag, and they gave me six bottles of mineral water. They don't want you to die of thirst in their hotel. Nearby attractions 🏟️ Holland Flower Town and Zhongshan Park are next door. They're great for shopping, buying flowers, and taking photos. It's a 10+ minute walk to Nantou Ancient Town, and there's a Hema supermarket. Target customers 👦 Hong Kong students People who can cook Hong Kong students who can cook 💡Students & weekends & no classes Visit Holland Flower Town ➡️ Visit Nantou Ancient Town ➡️ Buy ingredients at Hema ➡️ Return to the hotel ➡️ Look at the lush green view outside the window & have hot pot ➡️ Take a bath before bed 🟰 Life is good ‼️Attention‼️ When the hotel kindly offers to decorate your room (refuse! See the picture for the reason!) Close the curtains! You can see Holland Flower Town very clearly from above (be careful not to let the group next door copy your homework) Don't ask the hotel for two more bottles of mineral water (just ask for two bottles, or they'll give you a whole box) Take a taxi back to the hotel after buying ingredients (my feet still hurt) There's a fish tank at the hotel entrance (if you want to make boiled fish but forgot to buy fish...)

Merchant History Museum

Stepping into the China Merchants Group History Museum feels like entering a long corridor of time. Inside the exhibition hall, old photographs from the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China stand quietly, with the black-and-white images faintly shining with the hope of modern Chinese maritime. Each artifact and piece of information tells the story of how this century-old enterprise rose amidst changing tides to become a pillar of national rejuvenation. I paused at the 'Opening Ports and Shipping' section, as if seeing the bustling scene of Shenzhen's port in the 19th century, with the sound of steam whistles and ships shuttling back and forth vividly before my eyes. The words on the wall read: China Merchants Group is not only a symbol of commerce but also a reflection of China's dream of self-strengthening. With resilience and wisdom, it pioneered a maritime Silk Road for the Chinese people. Finally, I pondered for a long time in the museum. The echoes of history still resonate in my ears, deeply making me feel the power and original intention of national resurgence. This is not just a journey through history, but also a renewed understanding of faith and mission.
