A relaxing staycation in Shenzhen.

       Every time a holiday comes around, we choose to stay at the JEN Hotel in Qianhai, Shenzhen to avoid traffic and because my child and grandmother get carsick. This hotel, which is part of the Shangri-La Group, is known for its youthful positioning and environmental philosophy, and is located in the Kerry Center in Qianhai, Shenzhen. - The hotel is located in an office area, so it's especially quiet during holidays. The hotel offers free use of indoor and outdoor swimming pools (the outdoor pool is on the 5th floor and the indoor pool is on the 4th floor). You just need to register on the 2nd floor to enjoy. Don't forget to bring a swimming cap! -  Qianhai Stone Park is about a two-minute walk away. There, children can explore to their heart's content, such as catching small crabs, and enjoy a good time while looking at the Ferris wheel in the Bay Area. -  We chose a classic double room of about 30 square meters. The spacious space and the Ferris wheel view from the room are refreshing. On a clear day, you can even enjoy the beautiful sunset directly from the window. The room is equipped with a water dispenser instead of a traditional electric kettle, which is very intimate. It should be noted that toothbrushes and toothpaste need to be requested from the front desk by phone. -  The commercial part of the Kerry Center is located downstairs of the hotel, offering a variety of dining options. We enjoyed delicious dishes at Qianhai Brewery on the first floor, including Mexican wraps, burgers, and home-brewed beer. With live music performances, the entire dining process was both relaxing and enjoyable. -  Starting from Qianhai Stone Park, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to large shopping centers such as Qianhai Vientiane or Qianhai Joy Intown, where there are also a wealth of dining options waiting for you to discover. -  This trip also happened to celebrate my grandmother's 66th birthday. We specially ordered a chestnut-flavored cake from Xiaohu Handmade. The moderate sweetness and the fresh chestnut grains mixed in it are very suitable for the whole family to share. -  For families who don't want to travel long distances, this is definitely an ideal place to relax. Centered on the hotel, there are many places suitable for children to take a walk around; and the swimming pool in the hotel is a good place for children to release energy, and there are not many people. In addition, convenient transportation conditions also bring great convenience to travel. - In short, if you are looking for a destination that can meet the relaxation needs of adults and make children happy, then come to Qianhai, Shenzhen for a leisurely time!
