Summer Architecture Time Dialogue - Entering Shenzhen University

🏘 The architecture department of Shenzhen University is quite impressive, so it's no wonder why the architecture of Shenzhen University is so famous. As you step off the overpass, you can immediately see the legendary internet-famous Polytechnic Building. The first thing that catches your eye is the simple off-white walls and the irregular square grid frame that makes up the exterior wall. It's minimalist yet not monotonous, and the hollow minimalist design brings a touch of the ins style. Walking along the main road lined with coconut trees, you will soon see the swimming pool of Shenzhen University on your right. It's an open-air pool, and the water looks very clean. As you walk up the stairs, you can see the Han King Group's "I❤️SZ" building logo in the distance to the north of the pool, standing out against the blue sky and white clouds! 🕋 Not far from the swimming pool is the gymnasium of Shenzhen University, also known as Yuanping Gymnasium. I'm not sure how it got its name, but it is most famous for being the home court of the former volleyball powerhouse, the Bayi Women's Volleyball Team. Watching games in the past, the most memorable matches were between Bayi and Jiangsu, and it turns out their home court was right here! Not far from here is the archives of Shenzhen University, a very distinctive building! At the bottom of the slope, you can see an overpass that spans the north and south campuses. Crossing it, you will enter the South Garden. The overpass is quite long, and you can take pictures of the scenery on the road from the middle section. Its status in domestic education is very high. Just look at the alumni who have come out of here: Ma Huateng, Xue Zhaofeng, Meng Wanzhou, Zhou Qunfei, and so on. They are all household names in China and even internationally! And it is surrounded by commercial giants like China Resources, Alibaba, and Tencent. Coupled with the beautiful scenery on campus, the university has invested heavily in hardware facilities, daily life facilities, and teaching quality, making it top-notch in China. No wonder Shenzhen University has always had excellent student resources! 📷 Walk around more, and you will find better angles and lighting. Because Shenzhen University is so popular, some buildings are already closed to visitors, and you might miss some of the styles seen in other people's photos! 🍲 If you are touring the campus, I always like to experience the campus cafeteria. The cafeteria at Shenzhen University is, of course, not to be missed. After walking around, I found the food to be quite good. Unfortunately, you can only pay with a campus card. What to do? I chatted with a student and asked if I could use his card and transfer the money to him via WeChat. He readily agreed! Very friendly! I ordered three dishes and a bowl of rice, with free soup. Dining here may not compare to some big restaurants, but it gave me a taste of student life again, which is meaningful.
