Shenzhen Guiwan Park｜“Water Corridor” in the City

Shenzhen Guiwan Park is the first "water corridor" in Qianhai Water City, a new city full of innovation and sustainable concepts, and has become the "green core" of Qianhai. As a large-scale blue-green infrastructure, Guiwan Park supports the development of the urban center and provides services such as stormwater management and habitat restoration to the region. Guiwan Park is a continuous coastal park with 51,000 m2 of mangroves, 18,000 m2 of freshwater wetlands and 255,000 m2 of park green space. It naturalizes the originally functional tidal water corridor, combines natural and ecological benefits, and creates a harmony of beauty and ecological performance. There are different flowers in the park at different times of the year (Cleome, Snapdragon, Bauhinia, Acacia), which are mainly distributed in and around the Bauhinia Garden.
