On this trip to Shenzhen, I came to Datian Shijiu located in Longgang District, and this castle-style Hakka Weilong House with a rich historical heritage is truly breathtaking!🏯 Datian Shijiu is located in Chenyuansheng Village, Longdong Community, Baolong Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen. It is a magnificent building with a total construction area of 8088 square meters, a typical Hakka Weilong House, built in the fifth year of the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty (1825). It has three halls, two wings, one Weilong, four corner towers, an external moon pond, a rice terrace, a low protective wall, and revolving doors on the left and right. The words 'Datian Shijiu' are carved above the door, resembling the 'Qiao Family Courtyard' in Lingnan, and it is the most well-preserved Hakka residence among the existing Qing Dynasty ancient buildings in Shenzhen.🌸 Entering Datian Shijiu, I felt as if I had traveled back to that ancient era. Here, I experienced the strong atmosphere of Hakka culture and explored the unique charm of this ethnic group. Stone carvings, wood carvings, wooden components, every detail showcases the industrious and intelligent demeanor of the Hakka people. I tasted traditional Hakka cuisine here, learned about the living customs of the Hakka people, and felt as if I had become one with this land.🥟🍲 Datian Shijiu is not only a historical relic but also a cultural treasure. Here, I felt the deep affection of the Hakka people for their homeland and gained a deeper understanding of the unique value of Hakka culture.
