Honghu Park in Shenzhen was opened in 1984, covering an area of about 59.15 hectares. It is a municipal (wetland) park themed around lotus flowers and water bodies. Since the first lotus exhibition in 1988, the park has held the event annually, and it has become a characteristic cultural activity of Honghu Park. In addition to lotus flowers, the bald cypress trees in Honghu Park are also a highlight. They are lush and vibrant in spring and summer, and turn golden yellow and deep red in autumn and winter, occupying a large area of the park with their splendid colors, which is quite spectacular.
