Take the subway to Shenzhen Bay Park, and you can see the sea right at the subway entrance. However, the bay is sandwiched between Shenzhen and Yuen Long, Hong Kong, so the water is not very clear or open. Shenzhen Bay Park is actually quite large, with a 20-kilometer-long seaside promenade, making it an excellent place for running and cycling. The park took 8 years to plan, design, and construct, and along the coastline, 12 different themed parks have been planned, providing areas for leisure and entertainment, fitness activities, sightseeing, and experiencing nature for both residents and tourists. The best way to visit Shenzhen Bay Park is, of course, to find a morning or evening, run the whole course along the way, and feel the seaside charm of Shenzhen. Or be like me, a lazy person, bring a cup of coffee, find a bench in the Mangrove Park, and hide from the chaos of life in the dappled light.
