The Astronomical Road at the observatory is only for service vehicles. Public vehicles should park at the Xichong Beach parking lot. To go up the mountain, you can choose to walk or take a shuttle bus provided by Xichong Shareholding Company, with a fare of 10 yuan per person for a single trip, collected by the operating company. At the Shenzhen Observatory, children can learn about astronomy, and adults can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains and sea. Standing at the top of the observatory, the view is extremely open, offering a full view of Xichong Beach and the coastline of East and West Xichong. Walking on the popular plank road and feeling the sea breeze, even summer is cool. If you only go to the plank road without visiting the observatory, no reservation is needed. You can take a bus from Xichong No. 4 Beach parking lot to go up the mountain with a fare of 10 yuan per person for a single trip. Walking up the mountain takes about 30 minutes, less than 2 kilometers.
