Autumn Fairyland | Shennongjia Dajiu Lake.

We didn't have high expectations for Dajiu Lake, but as we strolled along the lakeside boardwalk, gazing at the blue lake and colorful trees, it suddenly felt like a beautiful painting. Riding the small train through the colorful forest felt like stepping into an autumn fairy tale, very dreamy. In the morning, we drove to Shennongding, had lunch at Pingqian Ancient Town (the stone-ground tofu fish was delicious), and then entered Dajiu Lake. Worried about time, we headed straight to Lake No. 4, walked along the boardwalk for a while, then returned to take the car to Lake No. 5. If you have more time, I highly recommend walking from Lake No. 4 to Lake No. 5 along the boardwalk. The autumn scenery is stunning, with many great photo spots. We were in a hurry, so we didn't hike. After leaving Lake No. 5, continue to the Deer Park, where there are many sika deer. If you're lucky, they'll all come out, and you can get up close. You can buy food in the park to feed them, and they'll gather around you. PS: I highly recommend staying overnight at Dajiu Lake. You can watch the sunset and morning mist and spend a day exploring. You can stay at Pingqian Ancient Town and enter Dajiu Lake early the next day, or stay at a homestay inside the Dajiu Lake Scenic Area, where you can see the morning mist from your window. We didn't stay overnight, so we missed the morning mist. PPS: The leaves at Dajiu Lake have started to turn yellow and should last until mid-next month. The best time is probably the end of this month.
