Shengsi, Zhoushan 🚢 “If there was another boat leaving, would you go with me?” This line from *In the Mood for Love* can be easily recreated with just a simple bag. 🐟 “The air here is fresh, and the snacks are unique.” Mountains, water, and farmland—this is practically my ideal living environment, a place where I can escape the hustle and bustle of the world. Due to the impact of this year's major epidemic, buying ferry tickets took several hours, including waiting time. We arrived in Shengsi by boat at around 4 p.m. After checking in at the front desk, we were starving, so we quickly asked the butler to bring us a bowl of seafood noodles to share. Afterward, we drove to the Jinghai Road farmers market. The market has two floors: the first floor sells cooked food and seafood, and the second floor sells vegetables, soy products, and poultry. The steamed seafood was fresh and sweet, while the braised seafood had a richer flavor. While at the market, we bought lychees from a fruit stand and RIO from a nearby supermarket. The combination of the two was amazing, like an upgraded version of the childhood drink Xuefeili. Donghai Fishing Village offers a glimpse into the lives of the villagers and stunning views of the vast sea. When returning, you can book ferry tickets in advance on the official WeChat app. Otherwise, it might be difficult to get same-day tickets if you're traveling in a large group.
