Arriving at Dawacun Village in the evening, the ancient village in the twilight has a unique charm. The bluestone slab roads shimmer with a warm glow in the setting sun, and the distant, melodious sound of bells signals the evening prayers at the Ming Dynasty temple at the village entrance. As night falls, the stars begin to twinkle. Strolling along the winding village lanes, the old houses on both sides light up with dim yellow lights, reflecting on the bluestone slabs as if time has turned back. Beside the centuries-old well in the center of the village, several elderly residents enjoy the cool evening air, sharing stories of Dawacun's past as a post station on the Tea Horse Road. Ascending to the viewing platform behind the village, the entire village comes into view. Scattered lights outline the Ming and Qing dynasty ancient architectural complex, while the distant mountains appear faintly under the moonlight. The night breeze carries the fragrance of locust blossoms, and in a trance, one can almost hear the bells of the horse caravans on the ancient road.
