Handan's lesser-known temples are quite magical indeed. She County's Qingquan Temple is a historic Zen Buddhist site, which houses a collection of calligraphy from various famous figures throughout history, such as Wang Xizhi, Emperor Kangxi, Empress Dowager Cixi, and Zhang Tianshi. It is known locally as a 'calligraphy sanctuary' and was designated as a national key cultural relics protection unit in 2019! The temple's name comes from its water, and it remains because of its spring. For over two thousand years, the spring water has been flowing continuously! 📕 You can meditate here, or even dress in Zen robes for a photo shoot! Additionally, if you walk to the big tree in the backyard, you'll find the Bai Xian Temple. Paying respects to Grandpa Bai Xian is said to be very auspicious! 👍
