However, in this historic and cultural city, there is another scenic spot worth visiting—East Lake.🌄 East Lake, located to the east of Shaoxing city, was originally a greenstone mountain, famous since the Han Dynasty. After thousands of years of quarrying and carving, it has become the landscape we see today. Stepping into East Lake is like entering a natural ink painting, where the lake and mountains reflect each other's beauty, and pavilions and towers are scattered throughout, creating an overwhelmingly beautiful scene.😍 Strolling along the lakeside path, a gentle breeze caresses your face, bringing with it a refreshing coolness. The lake water is so clear that the bottom can be seen, shimmering in the sunlight. Occasionally, fish play in the water, creating ripples that spread out in circles. The rocks on the lakeside are covered with moss and vines, giving them an ancient yet vibrant appearance.🌿 East Lake is not only a place of enchanting natural beauty but also a gathering place of culture. Within the scenic area, there are many historical relics and inscriptions by famous people, such as Tao Yuanxuan's 'Idle Cloud Rock' and Wang Xizhi's 'Winding Water Banquet', which add a profound cultural depth to the landscape.📖 While visiting East Lake, you can't miss the experience of riding in a black-awning boat.🚢 Sitting at the bow, with the sound of the boatman's oars, you slowly navigate the winding waterways of the lake, as if traveling through time and space, returning to the misty and rainy water towns of the Jiangnan region.🌧️ In addition, the gardens by East Lake are also a highlight.
