The distance is not far as long as the heart desires, Chapter Thirty-Nine~~ Shantou Stone Fort Park

🌹👍Stone Fort Park was built in 1874 and has a history of more than a hundred years. The rugged fort was constructed using oyster shell lime, boiled glutinous rice, and molasses. The gates and gun emplacements are built with standard granite blocks, very sturdy. The fort is divided into two levels, each with 18 gun positions and several embrasures. The lower level gun gallery is 4.1 meters high and about 300 meters long, deep and winding. Inside the fort, there is a set of 27 wave-patterned stone steps (Figure 11), ingeniously designed and practical, facilitating the transportation of artillery to the platform. 🌹The park faces the Seaside Road on one side, a great place for local citizens to relax and exercise. Here, you can enjoy the sea breeze, meet up with a few old sisters, sit together, and chat about everything under the sun.
