#discoverchina I’ve always been told that Shanghai-La is a beautiful place but also that it’s difficult to get to, the air is thin, the weather is rough and it is more rural so don’t expect the bathrooms to be glamorous. All of it is true but the beauty of the place completely offsets it. Summer is the best time to visit when all the grass and flowers are in bloom but Winter is also a good time as it is low season and has lesser tourists. Had a splendid time in Napa Lake, Songzanlin Monastery, old town, and so on.
