Diqing Shangri-La Moonlight City Indigo Hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, in Dukezong Ancient Town. You can see the Great Buddha Temple and prayer wheel in the distance from the balcony, and the view is even better from the hotel restaurant. The hotel rooms are very ordinary, not very big, not very Tibetan, and not very well designed. The hotel has an oxygen supply system for guests with altitude sickness, but I don't know if it really works. The hotel has a shuttle bus to take guests to the rooms on the hillside, as it's a bit tiring to walk up there yourself. The hotel breakfast is good, with some Tibetan specialties like butter tea. But I don't think it's worth the CNY 1,400 price.
